On this topic, we will discuss the issues relating to the Tryp Rides payment platform and its inability to issue Driver Merchant accounts. Tryp Rides had no way of creating driver merchant accounts until September 9th, 2019. The payment provider who is now responsible for Tryp Rides’ international wallet payments did not have a way to do driver merchant accounts or even credit card tokenization for that matter.

Taha Abbasi
I served as the Chief Technology Officer at Tryp Rides ("Tryp Technologies Inc") from March 1st, 2019 till January 2020. My goal here is to share facts and to lift the curtain on the facade that is being covered up by the false representations that are being floated about why I left Tryp Rides. On 27-January-2020 after much thought and counsel, I decided to step away from Tryp Rides as the CTO because I believe the actions that the Tryp Rides management team was taking were going to hurt drivers, investors, stakeholders, and employees. I did my best to bring light to these issues and encourage the management team to resolve the core obstacles that were preventing us from raising the necessary funding. However, when no resolution was reached, I could not continue to support a cause that I did not believe was being transparent with its users, investors, and stakeholders.
